Brittany Nopar

Brittany Nopar received her BFA in drawing from Arizona State University in 2010. She says "my work is experimental. I work in 2D and I work in 3D, because both styles inform each other. When I draw, I am usually thinking three-dimensionally. I work on drawings as if I am working in my sketchbook; loose, free, letting the layers of drafts and mistakes become the drawing. I am inspired by myths, biblical ideas and other cultures." The complexity of Nopar's drawings, both conceptually and technically, is impressive.
